Game VFX Clipper

A tiny browser add-on for Chrome and Firefox. Spot a great effect on YouTube, Twitch or Vimeo, mark the exact seconds, and it lands in your upload window with the link, name and trim points already filled in — straight into the “Add a clip from a link” window.

Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera and Firefox.

Type the in and out points

The whole video is selected by default. Type exact times, or tap Playhead to use the spot you are watching.

Grab a still frame

Freeze the current frame right under the preview and save it as a PNG for moodboards and study sheets.

Straight to link upload

Send opens the gallery and immediately shows the link-upload window with your title and exact trim points filled in.

Your own settings

Choose the site address, default clip length, auto-titling, pause-on-capture and background tabs.

Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera

Unzip the downloaded folder.
Open chrome://extensions.
Turn on Developer mode, top right.
Click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder.
If an older version is loaded, remove it first so version 1.2.0 replaces it.

Firefox

Unzip the downloaded folder.
Open about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
Click Load Temporary Add-on.
Choose manifest.json inside the folder.
Reload the temporary add-on after downloading a newer version.

Only add clips you have the right to share. Some players block frame capture for copy-protected video — the link and trim points still work.
